SPRING HAS SPRUNG!!!!

Spring is here! This is a perfect time to make that checklist of items to clean to help you keep your home safe. The following are three items we recommend you take a look at to properly maintain your home. 

Dryer Vent: The dryer vent can build up and cause a fire if they are not properly maintained. We recommend that you clean or replace the hose once a year to ensure there is no buildup. Also be sure to vacuum out the back of the dryer to ensure that there is no left over debris. 

Smoke/Fire/Carbon Detectors: These items are crucial in making sure your family is safe. Spring is a great time to replace batteries and or the entire units. Most devices have an expiration date on them to let you know when they need to be replaced. 

Flue: Be sure to have your flue cleaned. We recommend hiring a chimney sweeper to ensure that it is done correctly.
