Sewage backup contaminates dirt in basement

A local home owner had a sewage back up in her basement. The cause was a faulty sewage pipe cap that came off, which allowed sewage to escape and fill up their basement. Upon arriving we had noticed that there was dirt in the basement that was contaminated with the sewage water.

Due to the contamination, the dirt needed to be manually removed so we could properly disinfect the space. 

We used the proper methods to clean and decontaminate the cement floor. 

The homeowner was so delighted with the end result, telling us that her basement hasn't looked this good in a long time.
