A New England winter storm causes a roof leak
During one of our notorious winter storms here in New England a commercial building owner found their roof leaking.
In picture one you can see how bad the roof leak was as the water penetrated and soaked into the ceiling. In order to properly dry out this space the ceiling materials including the drywall and insulation had to be removed. Due to our quick responding to the job we were able to prevent mold growth for this customer.
Did you know that mold growth can occur within 48-72 hours of a water intrusion? This is why it is extremely important to make sure when you have water remediation done you use experts who are trained in drying science and experienced in controlling the conditions of an affected space. Use the experts in the field.
Trust SERVPRO of South Springfield/Agawam to properly dry out your business.
