Fire damage cleaning to a ceiling.

A fire had broken out in an urban apartment complex. After the fire department had finished putting out the fire there is much that is needed to do. 

The apartment manager had called SERVPRO of South Springfield/Agawam to take care of the fire cleaning. Several apartment units required significant soot removal and deodorization. 

At the origin of the fire we had removed the charred finished materials, such as drywall, insulation and charred flooring. Having scraped the wall studs and other building framing we then moved onto to cleaning the soot in the remaining affected units. We also sealed the framing to prevent the return of any odors from returning.

SERVPRO used the correct cleaning techniques along with our signature cleaning products to remove the staining and prevent future odor issues.
