Mold due to unattended leak

During the winter here in New England there is a high probability that you may end up with a roof leak from the severe winter storms. Most people do not check their attics on a regular basis and can miss a leak that has the potential to activate spore growth. 

Pictured here is the before photo of an attic that had a roof leak that was undetected for several months. Notice the significant black mold growth all over the decking and joists. 

We applied an antimicrobial cleaning solution to the decking and were able to manually remove and treat all of the affected surfaces.
