Flooded Basement
This local homeowner found their basement flooded. As you can see from the picture on the left the water level was pretty high. When a water leak happens to a finished basement, you first need to clean up the water and then dispose of non salvageable material such as drywall and insulation. For this particular job we needed flood cuts. A "flood cut" is when you remove a portion of the drywall in order to allow the studs and other framing to dry thoroughly. As you can see in the second picture after the flood cuts were made and the space was dried using professional equipment.
We here at SERVPRO take the time to make sure that things are done correctly to ensure your safety.
